New cement…

pouring cement
We were sitting in front of the milk house drinking coffee after chores one morning, looking at the hole under the manure stacker and thinking it was about that time of year again when we would need to have a few loads of gravel hauled in to level it up. Too bad we have to do that each year, we thought… then we decided it was high time we did something different. That day, we hatched a plan to build a cement pad in that high use area. We hauled in rocks and gravel from a field on the farm, built a frame for the cement, reinforced it with rebar and had cement hauled in to fill the form.
